THERMOSET CLOSURES
The depth of the closure skirt is designated by the last three digits below. The deeper skirt is often used for aesthetic reasons. However, it also provides additional thread engagement to resist "back off" and can be an aid to control pouring. This is particularly true of the 430 finish, which accomodates a special glass finish which helps eliminate dripping.
