All-Pak’s dangerous goods packaging is engineered to meet the rigors of today’s regulatory environment. We have designed, tested, and certified our packaging for shipping hazardous material by ground and air.
According to section 172.301 (c) of the DOT 49 CFR, the marking on all Special Permit Packagings will be changed from "DOT-E" to "DOT-SP". This section also states that "packages authorized by an exemption issued prior to October 1, 2007, may be plainly and durably marked 'DOT-E' in lieu of 'DOT-SP' followed by the number assigned as specified in the most recent version of that exemption." Until stock has been depleted, some packagings may still be marked "DOT-E 9168".
