All-Pak, Inc. was established in 1958 through the combination of Cunningham Glass Company and Allied Can and Container Company.
Cunningham Glass Company was a manufacturer of glass containers from 1849 to 1931. In 1931, Cunningham ceased manufacturing and established themselves as a distributor for Owens-Illinois Glass company.
To achieve success as a glass container distributor, it was essential to develop competencies for all types of customers. An extensive inventory of containers of various sizes, shapes, and colors was built and maintained. In addition, the company competitively shipped full truckloads of containers directly from the manufacturing plant.
Allied Can and Container Company worked under the same distribution premise in agreement with Continental Can Company. As Allied's demand for glass was increasing, Cunningham's management was prepared for change. Allied approached Cunningham with an acceptable purchase proposal, and the two companies merged to form All-Pak, Inc.
Through a disciplined focus on hiring and retaining quality personnel and maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical business practices, All-Pak grew to become one of the most respected packaging suppliers in North America.
In 1990, All-Pak's president and sole shareholder, B.K. Simon, completed negotiations for the sale of the company's assets to a group of senior managers. |

In 2001, ownership of All-Pak was then transferred exclusively to two members of the original senior management buyout group. These two owners continued a tradition of growth and prosperity at All-Pak that began almost a half century earlier.
